NEW ALBUMS WITH AMISTAR GUITARS: Singer and guitar player Dave Goodman and Steve Baker (harp) recorded the new album „The Wine Dark To See“ with Amistar Single Cone Cross „Rusty“.

Player Antti Karineva and Dave Rios (harp) from Finland recorded the new album „Blues Union“with Amistar Maple Stager.

AMISTAR AT INTERNATIONAL BLUES CHALLENGE 2013 IN MEMPHIS: Slovak resophonic "Amistar" guitar player and singer Lubos Bena and harp player Charlie Slavik have represented the Slovak Republic at 29th International Blues Challenge in Memphis (Jan 29 – Feb 2). They were selected for The FedEx International Blues Showcase at the New Daisy Theater and they made a blues show for the Memphis television - DittyTV. During the next two days they competed with almost 230 bands from all over the world and in the end Lubos and Charlie went ahead to great friday semi-finals. This was a really big success for a small country as Slovakia, which has very short blues history. See their show for DittyTV in Memphis, TN.

AMISTAR TRICONE 20TH ANNIVERSARY:Im Jahr 2012 jährt sich das 20 jährige Bestehen der Firma Amistar, des Herstellers feinster Resonatorgitarren aus europäischer Fertigung mit seinem Gründer Frantisek Javurek. Was 1992 am Wenzelsplatz in Prag mit der Auftragsfertigung von Resonatorgitarren begann, war der Beginn der zukünftigen Amistar Produktion in der tschechischen Republik Jeneč.

RICHIE ARNDT: "HEAR MY TRAIN COMING": Jimis 70. Geburtstag wäre am 27. November 2012 gewesen. Kaum zu glauben, hat sich dieser Gitarrist doch visuell als ewig jugendlicher Lockenkopf ins Gedächtnis der Menschheit eingebrannt. Der Bluesgitarrist und Sänger Richie Arndt hat in Ausgabe 1-2013 der AKUSTIK GITARRE Gedanken zum 70. Geburtstag von Hendrix formuliert, parallel dazu könnt ihr Richie in diesem Video musikalisch in Aktion erleben. Er performt den Hendrix-Song ‚Hear My Train Coming‘.
