NACOMI PLAYS AMISTAR She is a Japanese Female singer and guitarist. Grew up in Kyoto where the first Blues scene came in Japan in '70s. Her father likes country music and Dixie Land Jazz Music very much, so she was raised in a good musical enviroment, everyday little Nacomi listened to Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Fats Domino and so on.

AMISTAR IN PRISON The concert at the Mirov Prison, “Under Armed Guards” in the Czech Republic was very extraordinary! The Slovak- Czech Duo Bena & Ptaszek chose this location to record their next Cd of Blues with armed protection inside a prison and where better to have the Blues? The nice people at Indies Happy Trails under the heading of BluesAlive have made this performance recording possible! This is the first time in history that blues fans can chance to see a comeback of the blues inside the Mirov Prison as a University of the Blues.

LUBOS BENA AND HIS AMISTAR “Goin´down south“ again. Together with his friend, Jeff Brandon, from Hernando MS, they will begin the journey from South 3rd street in Memphis, TN and travel down to New Orleans on the legendary Blues HWY 61. They will try to visit all of the delta cities near this highway with any Blues importance. This Blues trip will finish with a grand finale at the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival in Helena, Arkansas.
